For the same reason, It is recommended to have the mammography within 10 days of the start of your period or when your breast are less sensitive. You can take two Acetaminophen (Tylenol*) or Ibuprofen 1 hour before the exam.<\/p>\n<p>Do not use deodorant, powder, cream or perfume on your breasts and armpits.
